With Christmas music and peppermint smells filling the air, there’s no doubt that the holiday season is once again upon us. The breweries and distilleries on the Toast the Coast trail are adding to the seasonal delights brewed for this jolly time of the year.   • City Folks Just Don’t Get It W/ Cranberry Fruited Saison - A variation of the City Folks Just Don’t Get It Farmhouse Ale with a cranberry taste. 6.3%.

  • Grand Illumination - Bourbon Barrel Aged Barley-wine style ale that packs loads of flavor reminiscent of sticky toffee pudding with mild pine and mint notes from the Northern Brewer Hop. 9% ABV.

  • Naughty or Spice - A served hot, craft vanilla chamomile, cinnamon, and apple hard seltzer. 11% ABV.

Virginia Beer Company

‘Tis the season for Evil Santa to return to the Virginia Beer Co. with variations of this seasonal staple milk stout.

  • Evil Santa Milk Stout - With hearty additions of flaked oats + lactose, and dashes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, this warming stout is smooth with a hint of spice + everything nice on the finish. 7% ABV.

  • Apple Brandy Double Evil Santa - Imperial Spiced Milk Stout. A stronger version of our Evil Santa Spiced Milk Stout, this variant has been aged in Apple Brandy Barrels for eight months. Nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice are complemented by the sweet, creamy notes that arise from extended barrel aging. 11.3% ABV

  • Double Evil Santa - A stronger version of our Evil Santa Spiced Milk Stout that has been aged in Bourbon Barrels for eight months. Nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice are complemented by the caramel and vanilla notes that arise from extended barrel aging. 11.3% ABV.

  • Double Chocolate Espresso Evil Santa - A rich, warming base of Evil Santa Spiced Milk Stout (brewed with Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Allspice, & Milk Sugar) is layered with additions of bittersweet Cacao Nibs. Then concentrated Espresso — brewed by the elves at Ironclad Coffee Roasters in Richmond, Virginia — balances out this nuanced and decadent (with just a hint of bite) belter. 7% ABV.

  • Vanilla Latte Evil Santa - Vanilla Beans soften the spice of our smooth & creamy seasonal Milk Stout, and locally sourced coffee provide a pinch of perk. 7% ABV.
